  1. Rachel

I’m happy with this purchase. It works perfectly for organizing boards. The price and quality are just right.
The wood is solid and durable. It includes everything you need to install the rack on the wall.

  2. Dr. Jeanette N.

Easy for my handyman to install. It looks very attractive. It’s a very sturdy rack and holds several boogy boards as well as surfboards for my guests to use. All keeping boards and leashes neat and tidy up off the blowing sands. I like that the side rails can be mounted wide for longer boards or like ours, close enough to handle 9’ boards as well as boogey boards.

  3. vw7420

Great product very high quality and was easy to install

  4. Action Reader

Our son is an avid surfer. With any passion, the collection begins. He started with a short board and added in a long board. Surf boards whether long short are actually all LONG in my book! Haha. The solution up until now has been to store these standing on en behind his bedroom door (thankful for tall ceilings!) About a month ago he took a class in Maine to build his own wood longboard. It’s absolutely gorgeous-but, wow! It takes up so much space. Adding a third board behind his door was getting ridiculous. When I spotted this rack system, I jumped on it. It is a fabulous solution!! The boards are up off the floor with no toppling, slipping or sliding. While it is definitely a commitment of wall space, it actually becomes more of an artwork installation, than just serviceable storage. His newest, wooden board was of course very expensive, and now it can be safe and protected in this rack. The craftsmanship that went into the design is really well thought out with attention to detail that makes it aesthetic, but also secure. The mounting instruction are straightforward and should allow it to be moved to a new location should that ever become a thing. I think this is definitely an excellent solution and would recommend it.

  5. Austin Guy

Easy to assemble and very sturdy and stable. I have it loaded with 6 boards, a combination of wakeboards and kitesurfing boards.

  6. Dawn R.

The Hang 11s surfboard rack is everything I was looking for, solid, beautifully made, and perfectly aligned. The high-quality padding keeps my boards secure without worry, and the included extra parts were a great touch. Installation was seamless, and the overall craftsmanship is top-notch. This is a 10/10 product that I would absolutely buy again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a reliable and stylish way to store their boards!

Crafted from sustainable wood, the Hang rack offers a sturdy and reliable support system for surfboards, paddleboards, or wakeboards. The durable construction ensures your boards remain securely mounted while adding a warm and natural look to your garage, studio, or display area. Its horizontal design is particularly noteworthy, allowing for an effortless fit of various board sizes without compromising space efficiency.

What truly impressed me was the simplicity of the installation process. The clear instructions made it easy to mount the rack, and within minutes, my boards were neatly organized and displayed. The thoughtful padding in the design also ensures that the boards are protected from scratches or damage, keeping them in pristine condition.

  8. Yossarian

I really like the surf rack. It is made of solid wood, includes all the components needed to hang this on drywall or in a stud, and it looks elegant. The racks can be hung vertically, which works better in my space. I considered modifying the arms to stick out perpendicular to the backboard (looks like they used a spade drill to fashion the pre-drilled holes at an angle) but the orientation actually makes getting the boards out more convenient for a corner. Apologies for the limited ability to capture this perspective on photos.

Some reviewers noted that the wooden poles have a tendency to split, so I hand tightened them with medium force (Pinky tight, and an extra quarter turn). No issues with stability or with any cracks so far. Due to the length of the arms, there is a little bit of bounce to them at the ends. Perhaps, this could be improved with a thicker diameter arm on the next version. The other suggestion for improvement are the wooden nubs that stick inside holes to hide the screws. They are a bit too small to stay in.

None of these are deal-breakers; the quality, the padding, the heft of the wood, all the included accessories make it clear that this company is proud of this product and spent a good deal of time designing it.

  9. The Momllennial

Installation was easy just follow the detailed instruction manual and you’re good. Comes with plenty of drywall anchors but I would recommended finding the studs instead. The rubber is nice and thick and reminds me of the rubber foam used on the handles for the nice de weeding rakes. I personally did not get this for surfboard though bruh. I got it to store my live edge cedar wood slabs and for a drying rack when I’m making something. I really love the mini surfboards that the dowels are attached to. I’m a happy wannabe over here.

  10. Michelle Cohen

I live 20 mins from the ocean and love to surf and kayak. I also have bit of a messy garage. This was very helpful in making the garage look a little more organized as well keeping my surfboards safe by being up and away.

Although, I love the look of the natural wood, ideally I wish this was made of metal. If you’re careful with your gear when storing it away, it’s fine. However, if you drop your gear down too hard it may be an issue as you can feel the wood arms flex a bit.

It hasn’t been an issue for me as I’ve been careful when placing my boards down, but definitely keep it in mind especially if you have kids. Grow a toe and Hang 11, dude!

  11. CJ

I got this surfboard wall rack not for surfboards but to mount in my garage for tools. It turned out to be a really great storage solution for me. Very easy to install and sturdy.

  12. MooCar

Decently easy to install and saves room in our garage. Good quality and all for a decent price.

  13. Musgrove

I have all sorts of boards for these snd they look and work great. Solid build, holds good weight, simple to install. Great buy!

  14. Kyra_Athena

This is a great read-to-go way to store your surfboards. I have quite a few in my garage and I’m excited about an easy way to store them. All of the prep has been done for you. You get the 2 wooden baseboards in the shape of a board. There are 8 wooden and well-padded supports for 4 boards. The screws, anchors, etc. are included. A drill is recommended for installation. This is perfect for just regular surfboards. If you plan on using SUPs, you may want to make a trip to the hardware store for sturdy anchors. Maybe, I’m a worrywort, but it’s better than damaging your board. Great idea!

  15. A. Doucette

This rack is fairly well made, has finished wood, and the board hanging bars are covered with foam rubber.

The Wood is soft, but finished so less likely to be damaged by dripping water. Holes are drilled in right places, and the holes for the hanging bars are angled so the bars come up at about a 10degree angle from the wall.
Hanging bars have metal screw thread inserts, and their foam-rubber coating is angle-cut to match the angle they’ll mount into the wall brackets.
More hardware than necessary was included. See pics for what I had left over at end.

Though it includes anchors for drywall, probably better to screw this directly into the studs behind the drywall.
Nice that included the wooden caps to cover the screw-holes, but be sure to apply some glue (elmers is fine) to their underside to keep them in place.
All in all, a nice rack.

  16. Cy Shimizu

There are nice solid wood racks. They are narrow so will use for my surfboards but not for my stand up paddle boards. They look really nice and would be a nice piece to have in the house not just in your garage.

  17. J. Kramer

I was using basic wall hooks to support my boards in my garage. They worked for my snowboard and 2 kiteboards, but they didn’t look great and had no room for expansion. This rack looks SO much better, and has a spot for a 4th board.

The hardwood pieces are flawless … symmetric arcs, drill depths, sanded, and protected with a penetrating oil finish (It’s not “oily”, but I believe oil was used since it’s not wax or polyurethane). The kit comes with the foam sleeves already on the posts and quality wall mounting anchors for either drywall or concrete block.

Another reviewer mentioned that the “weak point” is where the metal threaded inserts attach to the wooden posts. I agree that this is where you could have a problem if you’re rough while loading or unloading boards. Avoid applying force to the ends of the posts. They’re plenty strong for my boards, but my best guess at a weight limit is maybe 20lbs at the end of the posts.
