THE HANG 11 STORY

Hang 11 was started by me, Friso, from my hometown of Amsterdam. I started surfing on the chilly waves of the North Sea some years ago, and I instantly fell in love with it! Since then I’ve been traveling all over the world chasing waves. I also sail, ski and skateboard, so my combined love for sports and product design resulted in the creation of Hang 11!

I've owned at least 5 or 6 changing mats over the last 10 years surfing and this is hands down the best one I’ve had. The material is much thicker and it seems like it’ll last longer. It’s a good size as well, fits my wetsuit and poncho without a problem. Adding the little loop to the bag is a great touch as well. I personally use it to attach my SurfEars earplugs, super handy! Great product, I can 100% recommend it.

Definitely a 5 star product. The mounts are super sturdy, seems to be very well made, has a nice finish on the wood, and I love the curves that subtly adds to the theme of surfing waves. The one con is the price, but to the point, when you feel the wood, it actually feels high quality and sturdy. They maybe "over built" this.

I’ve owned multiple wetsuit hangers with the button and the locking mechanisms, but all of them eventually failed because of my wetsuit's weight. I did like the design with the broad shoulders, but I couldn’t find an alternative that was stronger. I saw this new hanger and figured I should give it a try, and I’ve got to say, I’m very impressed. It folds upward instead of downward, and the weight is carried by the two shell pieces. I’ve put some serious weight on it, and it didn’t buckle under the pressure. So far so good!

This surfboard wall mount is so cute and works perfectly! Decorated my 3 year old's room in surf/dog/boho theme and had a small wooden skim board to hang on his wall. He doesn't have much room for an actual surf board to be hung so the skim board it was! These hooks are large enough to definitely handle a full sized surf board, however worked perfectly fine for our small skim board.

Candace Towel Hangers!!

I decided to use these wall mounts as towel hangers in the bathroom. They are great and the towels do not slip. They look nice and sleek since they are real wood. I'm really happy with them and will be ordering more for towel hangers. They look like they will hold a board easily and they are very sturdy, for those of you using them for their original purpose.

I do a lot of diving at a lake in central Florida that has a sand beach entry and a sandy parking lot. It’s hard to find a place to pull my wetsuit off without getting it covered in dirt. I usually sit on the truck gate and try not to let the wetsuit hit the ground. This changing mat solves the problem. Not only does it keep your wetsuit clean, but also keeps the wet wetsuit from getting everything else in you car from getting wet.

These racks were super easy to install and they look great in our garage. For reference, the longest board we put up is 9.6”, and it’s quite heavy. It carries the weight without a problem. Completely legitimate in every way, I am very happy with my purchase. Super fast delivery too.

I used to primarily use the Shoulder Saver hanger by Baker to help dry and protect my wetsuit, however, it's super large, somewhat difficult to get into the wetsuit, and generally a little on the clunky side. I feel like the Hang 11 Wetsuit Hanger solves all these problems while still offering the benefits of the Shoulder Saver. The fact that the sides fold up mean that you can just drop it in the neck of your suit and it pretty much expands into the arms automatically when you pull it up again. Feels really sturdy and supports an 8mm dripping wet wetsuit with no problems.

This leather wall mount is one of those simple yet so helpful products. A beach theme will always be popular. My 17 year old has a surfboard, she wanted to hang in her room. This product came and proves to be strong enough to hang her authentic surfboard. It’s basically an anchor in the wall and a strap that goes around and plugs back in. Super simple yet so effective. I do not fear that the surfboard will come crashing down. It’s there to stay until she’s ready to move it.
