Eliminates needing to inflate and deflate the paddle boards when we get to our destination to paddle, which is usually the lake, or one of our many local beaches. Now I can just inflate our two paddle boards before leaving home, load them up, strap them snug, and we’re off. I absolutely LOVE the convenience that now having this set up provides my wife and I, not having to go through all that inflating and deflating hassle when we get there. KOWABUNGA!
Haven’t been able to use this yet, but this looks and feels like a very good quality. Comes with extra wide 1.5” straps, thick foam pads, an anti-slip bottom, and silicone covered buckles. Very light weight and portable. I like the storage bag for keeping it in the trunk when not in use. I love how this roof rack is temporary and not permanent. I will be testing this out on a kayak and a SUP board. Great alternative to the standard (and ugly IMO) roof racks. Would recommend!
High quality materials and well assembled, this has all the bases covered for a basic but quality strap around the roof surfboard rack. Comes with a really nice carry case too. Silicone buckle covers are extra nice, so you don’t have to be quite so careful how you position things because your car is protected regardless.
I ordered this with the intention of putting my kayak on top of my car. I have a foldable kayak and sometimes I would like the option of already assembling it before heading to my destination. I have a very small car however and have been apprehensive about getting one of these. This carrier will hold my kayak already folded too, which will save a tremendous amount of space while camping. I will update once actually taking it out. Two thumbs up!
Dude, this is like, totally a must-have if you’re hauling surfboards, kayaks, or whatever rad gear you wanna throw on top of your ride! (But, like, check the weight and size limits first, ya know? There are rules and stuff.) So, my bro’s got a Honda CRV—it’s kinda a smaller SUV vibe—and we’ve got a bigger SUV too, but we could never figure out a strap setup that worked for getting our ocean kayak or boards on either one. We always ended up using our buddy’s old beach truck. Such a bummer.
But now? Game-changer, dude. This thing fits super snug on the CRV’s roof rack, and it’s way easy to set up. (The mom is hardcore about not letting the new SUV get scratched—total no-go there.) Anyway, it held everything down solid while we cruised all over town looking for the perfect surf spot. When we got to the beach, it was no biggie to take everything off, stash it in the back of the CRV, and then strap it all back on when we headed home.
Seriously, it’s such a sick strap system—super well-designed and totally dependable. Stoked we found this, man!
